Okamoto Shoten will once again be exhibiting at the Tokyo Gift Show, Japan's largest international trade fair for personal gifts and household goods, held annually.
Okamoto Shoten, which operates the women's apparel brand "Giemon" that uses Kurume Kasuri fabric, may have a strong image of "Okamoto Shoten = Kurume Kasuri products," but in fact they also have two other trademarks for their products.
One of them is the name and shape of " monpan," which is an improvement on "monpe ," a type of workwear that has long been popular as farm workwear, so that it can be used as everyday wear.
The second is a fabric design called " Rice Grain ," named after the pattern that resembles grains of rice.
This fabric is used for socks, cut and sewn items, shirts, etc. under the Giemon brand.
This time, we will be bringing two trademark items that represent Okamoto Shoten, with the concept of meeting companies that can help us with materials and designs.
