[Column] Guidance of Giemon Tobu Utsunomiya store

The current Tochigi Prefecture, where the Tobu Utsunomiya store is located, will celebrate its 150th anniversary this year. On June 15, 1873 (Meiji 6), Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya Prefecture, which were located in the south of the prefecture at that time, merged and was born.
At first, the prefectural office was placed in Tochigi-cho (Tochigi City), the town of storehouses, so it became Tochigi Prefecture.
After that, the prefectural office was moved to Utsunomiya, but the name of the prefecture remains the same.

Every June 15th is Prefectural Citizen's Day, and this year various events will be held in the prefecture from June 15th to commemorate the 150th anniversary.

As one of them, the "Tobu Utsunomiya Line", which is directly connected to the Tobu Utsunomiya store, will be renamed to the "Ichigo Kingdom Line" for one year only.
