新たな動き

new movement

There was a new movement at our company this summer.
It was my participation in the "Water and Green Campaign" of KBC, a local TV station in Fukuoka.
The "Water and Green Campaign" is an environmental campaign launched by KBC to commemorate its 45th anniversary.
This is the 19th time, and it is a famous event in Fukuoka.
At that event, a plan was brought up for Pico to design and sell Kurume Kasuri wear.
We participated in the position of being responsible for the production.

The project is with a shop called " K KURUME KASURI " in Fukuoka city that we have business with.
It started with the connection with KBC, but from the trigger of a little talk about that connection,
The story progressed with areyoareyo, and it was a very interesting project for our company, so
I accepted the offer and started planning.
The project was on a KBC program called Asades for several weeks.
While introducing the state of the project, follow the path to the day of the campaign,
Although it was the content, I will be involved with the media in this way,
It was my first time, so it was a great experience.
The best experience of all was being able to come into contact with Mr. Pico's designs.
As you know, Mr. Pico, one of "Osugi and Pico",
I am a fashion critic as well as a designer.

As an outspoken fashion critic, his critiques are powerful because they are based on his own practice.
And this time, I was able to show off the technique as a practitioner.
Instantly distinguish the fabrics lined up on the shelf and apply them to the design you imagine.
The work itself is so speedy that I wonder if the design was originally in my head.
Perhaps he had an image, but in the process of designing while actually looking at the fabric,
I have a strong impression that they are inflating it and finishing it.
flexible and bold. Balance of colors and textures. and design.
Seeing the series of movements, I was overwhelmed, and I was simply mesmerized.
At the same time as thinking again that it was a completely invaluable experience,
Everyone at KBC who set up such an encounter,
I would like to thank Mr. Kiyokawa, the owner of K KURUME KASURI .

And Mr. Pico, who did the design, made this project all the more exciting.
Thank you very much, Reiko Tokunaga and Mieko Nishimoto.
Also, on this very hot August day, I lined up at Hakata station to purchase the product.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our customers.
By the way, this year's theme of this water and green campaign is "Takaramono that we want to leave for the future."
For us, the Takaramono we want to leave for the future is
It goes without saying that it is Kurume Kasuri.
And through this project, such encounters
I realized that it was a wonderful Takaramono.
Great memories and encounters this summer.
We will continue to cherish it.
