To coincide with the event, Shimokawa Orimono has woven a special 40th anniversary pattern.
"Passion flower"
The passionflower plant is designed with the image of ``marking time'' in the 40th year and in the future.
In addition, in honor of Kurume's predecessor ``Karakuri Giemon,'' the design is reminiscent of the gears of a karakuri doll.
Although it was a difficult part to express the checkerboard pattern typical of Kasuri inside the plants,
It is beautifully woven by skilled craftsmen.
